Okonomiyaki

aahhh, yes fresh post, today made okonomiyaki for dinner and update right away...fresh heh...

own made okonomiyaki, yes, of coz by myself k...
but still lack of dry shrimps, bacons...oh yea bacons...
erm this two...

tot can get the dry shrimps i wanted in jusco, but the AEON 'new' jusco didnt have it...sigh...
i know the ayer keroh jusco have it tho...


wow, is already ages i never try did this, and yea my dad asked me twice, one is few few few months back and second is just this pass few weeks...yep
thought that last saturday gonna do it as my mom told me she got me half cabbages, sotongs...and not the 3 layers pork, so called bacon...but bacon is much nicer...both will do lah...

this morning, errrr i mean afternoon i woke up, the cabbages is prepared for me, and wat the hell leaving there aside as i thought will wrap the plastic bowl with the plastic then put it in the fridge....**duh**
but nvm, baru wake up and i did it myself...i guess the cabbages is ready from morning when i was asleep...


okay lets start, seems i just wana do some, yea some...
i put in 1 and half cup of flour, and 2 tea spoon of dashi powder...

then half a cup or 3/4 of water...not too much and not too little...
either will make the dough too watery or too dry...
ngam ngam and just nice will be good......

pour in the water, then mix it...
just like that....

ohh, i've forgotten say about the cabbage as is ready for me...hehe
mine is half and cut it in half inch every of them and not too long nor short...
mine was ready not really nice as some of em is neither long and bigger...
so i just crush it tho...yea crush...haha

next, fried da sotongs...the squid i mean...
before that of coz u need to clean it and cut it......
when u fried it, just fried it medium to cook, not too cook as later will be too rubbery...

then grab handful of those cabbages and some sotongs and an egg into it...
mix it mix it, when u mix it do it slowly and not taking too long time as u will make the thing too watery...
then pour it into the hot pan...
yea hotto pan desu...

when u pour onto the hot pan, make it flat and make it round and dont move da thingy...
then can put on some bacons on it, for the size like that, it can fit 3 slices of em...(that for non muslim)
after awhile, when the bottom is cook and is brownish in colour, u can flip it....

hey, need skill to flip it tho...

after flip it, and after both side shows brownish in colour (i prefer brownish in colour as is more burn and more cook and much nicer in smells...and yellow or orange-ish not so cook yet) then appy that black sauce, is Okonomiyaki sauce and the jap mayonese and that green thingy is seaweed in powder form...

oh oh, forgot one stuff, that is the bonito fish, or bonito flakes that normally u can see that thingy can move around or is like dancing....
hahaha, we called it tht dancin fish...lol

thats the mayonese and a  complete and ready to serve okonomiyaki....

second, third and forth...
i've done four of them but 1 and half given to ppl....


 done....

although im sucks in canto but still can understand lil tho...

yeng leh, i got try to kepo to do sushi but never really go learn it...
wait when my jap fren back...haha

1 or 2 piece can settle ur meal d...if i eat at outside, 3 or 4 piece still feel nothing...kekeke
